Décor Diary by Minisha began with the sole idea to create a one-stop solution for home décor. We started our journey in November 2020 with home linens, catering to the needs of customers without compromising on quality. Slowly, we expanded our business into other categories and now offer customizations as well.
Our Story
The brand was founded by Minisha Arun, who is an HR by profession and a mompreneur. She always had a dream of getting into business but never thought it would happen so soon. It was in March 2020 that Minisha and her husband Arun bought their new home in Cochin. Unfortunately, Covid turned out to be an obstacle and they had to wait to move in. During that period, she started curating ideas about how each room of their dream home should look like.
Already having spent a fortune on buying their home, Minisha was left with budget-friendly yet classy décor ideas. Meanwhile, she created a page and uploaded pictures of her rooms, intending to give home décor suggestions. Soon after, she got many inquiries about the curtains, bedspreads, and so on. That is exactly when Minisha got the spark for creating her business, and voila, Décor Diary by Minisha was born. Initially, it was only meant to be another source of income, but gradually, it became her passion.
The 9-month long journey has helped us grow from a one-man-army into a big team, consisting of designers, weavers, research & development, IT, and customer support.
Our Beliefs
The core idea behind our business is to add visual aesthetics to your home by bringing together unique, classy, and affordable home accessories. We are closely working with hand loom weavers and artisans across India, thereby bringing quality products to our customers. The raw materials are procured from Rajasthan, Hyderabad, Delhi, Tamil Nadu, and Kerala. Our products can be tweaked according to your preferences.
